Justice has a long arm, and the Vermont State Police just got the finger. In February 2018, Gregory Bombard was illegally pulled over, arrested, and locked up for nothing more than swearing and giving a state trooper the bird. With the help of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression and the ACLU of Vermont, Bombard sued the Vermont State Police and Trooper Jay Riggen for violating h...

"Freedom, like health, is most fully appreciated by those who have been long deprived of it." Those are the words of D.M. Bennett, a writer done dirty by the Comstock Act-a grossly unconstitutional law that puts everyone's First Amendment rights at risk. Now, FIRE calls on President Biden to pardon Bennett.

John McWhorter should be prosecuted. It is a crime to call for the assassination of a President. It is NOT free-speech to encourage violence. An academic suggesting that murder is a good solution indicates indecent, immoral bankruptcy and intellectual vacancy. The 'black guys' image on the Glenn Show has been destroyed and black stereotypical perspectives can now be applied to John McWhorter. John should resign.

Well is been a practice they've done in the black community for years, How it works is oppress blacks by tickets, fines and false arrest, I've had multiple cop's tell prepare to lose everything you have I'm ticketing you every time I see you or your car you won't even be able to even buy gas to get to work, they false arrest us and never show up at court because it was to oppress the person regardless you still have court cost, time off work or keep having you show up in court and the purposely reschedule time after time and that's to get you fired from your job taking time off for court, they know how to oppress black people well like come out ready for work and see a ticket on your windshield for being 1 inch to far parking from the curb then lie to the public about oppression on some of us blacks on purpose to keep you down, what did the 2 cop's say who recorded themselves on accident? We'll set the N*ggers back a couple generations, now a couple generations is back when it was segregation, but they're clever police know exactly who to cry to when they get busted saying it's not true, and we know that's all half of America need to say it wasn't true and the favorite of mine it was taken out of context 😂it should have never been said on duty period

There was no accountability for this trooper. Taxpayers paid all the damages, and he was actually promoted. No judge should even entertain a judge of disorderly conduct. It's just a cya charge when cops don't have anything legal to charge someone with. And until the charges are either dismissed or the person is found not guilty, the law usually permits filing suit.

I mean... Cop's odd, but this dude is right up there with him. Why the F would you want to keep escalating the situation like they both did throughout the whole interaction? Actually, let me correct myself, the cop made the only good move in the entire video, which was to walk away when GB kept being obnoxious. I'm not disagreeing with how it played out in the legal system, cops SHOULD be under much stricter scrutiny. But this guy... goodness me, way to be the idiot of the year.

And this is the problem when cops don't get punished they get to act like little sensitive pansies. The supreme court has already ruled the bird and profane language is protected speech. Unfortunately cops will continue to arrest people because it's the taxpayers footing the bill and not them.

Freedom can be dangerous. It doesn’t surprise me though that a generation of upper crust “safe space” Ivy League graduates would think censorship “for the good of our country” is a good idea. They were trained to think this way by their communist professors.

Have to dig a little deeper to see if anyone can find some sort of relationship between Mr. Bombard and the officer. What a great way to split 175 thousand dollars and no one but the taxpayer and community gets hurt. After all, desperate times call for desperate measures, and an act like this is certainly not beyond the scope of possibilities.
